A highly capable platform for realtime RFID in industrial
applications:
Embedded Web interface for configuration and
monitoring (future 25Mar08)
Telnet Connectivity for realtime data (future
25Mar08)
RS232, RS485, Modbus, Bitbus, Profibus, DH-485, P-Net
interfaces for realtime data
Barcode Emulation: unformatted ASCII output for PLC
interfaces (future 25Mar08)
Industrial I/O Standard Features:
Read Tag on Trigger, set Good or Bad Output
Write Tag on Trigger, set Good or Bad Output
Constant Data
Incrementing/Decrementing Data
Randomized Data (future
25Mar08)
Read Tag on Trigger, set Outputs based on Tag Data
(future 25Mar08)
Extract User Data from passing tags and send to host
(future 25Mar08)
All of the above, based on scan for tags instead of
input trigger (future 25Mar08)
All of the above, with network notification
(future 25Mar08)
All of the above, with serial PLC notification
(future 25Mar08)
More complex interactions between I/O, Network and
RFID are programmable by Python
GlueLogix can do special programming on this platform
Low level data passthrough to integral reader
NEMA enclosure
Light Stack for instant local feedback
Note: The GlueLogix
Industrial Reader is not intended to compete with or substitute for
high-end fixed readers. Specifically, it does not support tag
databases, EPC Reader Protocol, SNMP, or multiple antennas. The
GlueLogix Industrial Reader is the ideal component for on-press
inspection, post-application screening, Conveyors, Vertical Storage
Units, Workpiece Routing, Barcode Replacement, and other realtime RFID
tasks.
Technical Features
Uses UHF OEM modules from
ThingMagic and WJ, and HF from Feig, letting you:
Select the best radio for
your application
Keep the same
network and realtime interfaces
Gumstix for network
communications and high level applications
Socketed for repair and updates
Scenix SX48 with 50 MHz clock for serial
communications and realtime functions
Sockets for 6 Grayhill Industrial I/O Modules,
selectable for AC or DC interfacing
Extra I/O and wiring points for custom applications
Status 31Jan2010 (final)
IndustRFID is no longer offered separately from the
LineLogix system.
First Feig HF system for ISO15693 delivered in
2007. See the HF
Antennas page.
LineLogix system with IndustRFID+ThingMagic and flexible antenna assembly
serializing UHF inlays on 3 inch labels at 25 FPM. Antenna was
hand optimized for application. LineLogix system displaced a
Confidex reader due to Linelogix' superior performance and
selectivity. Three such systems delivered in 2007
03Nov06: Delivered First LabelLogix system, powered by
IndustRFID+ThingMagic. System serializes on-pitch AD-220 at
100/minute.
Working with ThingMagic M4e on serial connection to
LineLogixPC and RFIDiagnostixPC.
Working with LineLogix test system.
Reading and writing tag IDs, not working with user
data yet.
Features marked "future" above are planned or
partially implemented, but
not working yet.
